Join me for spring belly dance classes

Looking for some spring in your step? Join Andalee for a spring class at Ninth Street Dance. Learn traditional Middle Eastern dance movements that have been passed down for generations in this entry-level class. Beginning belly dance is about learning how to connect with your body and spirit. Suitable for all shapes, sizes and activity levels, but you will get a work out! This class will focus on improving flexibility, conditioning the body in order to do the movements properly, and building stamina. You will learn basic belly dance techniques that focus on the core aspects of the dance. Wear comfortable clothes. Pants or shorts are preferred as we may stretch on the floor. Bring water. Dance shoes and hip scarves are optional.

Ninth Street Dance - 1920 1/2 Perry St., Durham, NC 27705

Gauging interest in a new beginner class

Due to my busy spring season, I had to cut back my usual weekend class. However, I have a slot available on Wednesday nights from 6-7p. I charge $12 per class weekly and $40 for a 4-week pass. They would run in 8-week sessions. I need to know if there is enough interest to start something up. If yes, I'll make arrangements to rent the room at my neighborhood clubhouse. Classes will be held in southwest Durham. They'll be small intimate classes with a beginner level curriculum that follows the level/needs of the class. I need a minimum of 3 students with a max of 8. If you are interested or for more information, please e-mail me at andalee@andaleedance.com.
